Money Can't (Always) Buy Happiness

I bet you all familiar with the statement that "money can't buy happiness". I used to disagree with it because I feel like money is everything. I can buy anything I want which will lead me to joy and pleasure. Thus, I am counter-attacking with the statement that "the one who says that money can't buy happiness clearly doesn't know where to shop". LOL.

In some part, money surely can buy happiness. For instance, I am always wanting to buy new lipstick whereas I know that I've had enough. What has been keeping me from buying is money. I might have my own savings but it's just not worth to spend it on things you don't really need. To be honest, I prefer to spend it on delicious meals rather than on some high-end cosmetics. Ha!

But then something has changed my point of view. I found that no matter how much money you have, you still can't buy all of the happiness. You have been working so hard so that your boss gives you an extra money, but you have no time having fun? You are making good money in the beginning but you always stressed out while working because you hate your job that much? In those conditions, I would give up my money.

I don't say that money absolutely can't buy happiness because some people find that money is their happiness. It just depends on how each person interprets it right? I'm saying this because I found some people don't care how they hate their job as long as they're making good income. Because like I said before, money can buy you anything. Maybe you can buy your parents things they have been longing for ages and to see them happy is your happiness. So, I'm writing this based on my own judgement and experience.

As long as it makes you happy, do it.
